32 Years of History and Trust, Sebeom Food

Since its establishment in 1994, Sebeom Food began exporting to Japan in 1997 and established a quality management system through HACCP certification in the early 2000s. Since signing an MOU with Dodoma Seafood in 2012, we have built a strong reputation of trust within the global seafood industry.

    • 01

      Established Kumjin Mulsan
      (Dried Red Snow Crab shells for chitosan raw materials).
      Started exports to Japan.

  • 1997
    • 02

      Transitioned to a Red Snow Crab processing plant
      Started exports to Tomoda Seafood via SK Japan,
      initiating a long-term strategic partnership.

  • 2000
    • 03

      Renamed to Uri Seafood.
      Expanded wastewater treatment
      and processing facilities.

  • 2002
    • 04

      Incorporated as Uri Seafood Co., Ltd.

    • 05

      Signed a direct export agreement with
      TOMODA SELLING & SAILING CO., LTD.

  • 2003
    • 06

      Prepared the 1st phase system for EU registration
      (National Fisheries Quality Management Service).

  • 2007
    • 07

      Initiated factory expansion plans with
      government HACCP support.

    • 08

      Selected as a government-supported company
      for HACCP certification.

    • 09

      Commenced renovation and expansion.
      Capital increase through investment
      from Tomoda Seafood.

      Signed a joint venture and technical
      cooperation agreement with Tomoda Seafood.

      Commenced operations under HACCP application.

      Applied for HACCP certification audit.

    • 13

      Designated as a HACCP-certified facility
      (Korea Food & Drug Administration).

      Registered for EU and HACCP implementation
      (National Fisheries Quality Management Service).

    • 15

      Maintained HACCP certification
      through post-audits (to present).

  • 2011

      Signed an MOU with
      Sokcho City and Tomoda Seafood

  • 2012

      Completed construction and relocated
      to a new factory in Daepo, Sokcho.

  • 2018
    • 18

      Renamed the company
      to Sebeom Food Co., Ltd.
